Google Docs: Sharing House Expenses

Video with Sulli and me showing how we share our monthly house expenses using Google Docs.

L'amour - Paris

The weekend has been amazing. I never thought I would get so in love again with a European city: Paris. My finial impression though was that Paris and Barcelona are so alike that you may not know where you are at some point, until you hear this strange and melodic way to pronounce Catalan: French.

The weekend started with an amazing tour conducted by Sulli who wanted to show us everything. We walked a lot in an amazingly sunny day. I got a sun burn, but this does not matter as everything was so extremely nice and charming. After visiting La Tour Eiffel, Sulli proposed a tour in boat along the Senne. That was incredible. We manage to see the city from another perspective, and then we just walked all over meanwhile we enjoyed some Kronenburg beer. The 1664 is the one I specially liked. Great beer I fully recommend.

On the evening we went to a restaurant called “Le Jardin den face”. Sulli wanted to bring us there as we were supposed to test “L’oeuf cocotte au foie gras” which definitely exceed expectations. The recipe is quite easy but the result is a Caprice de Dieux. I would say it was a base of crème fresh with a drop of olive oil, then one egg (be careful not to break it) and all covered by French foie gras. This hole thing should go to the oven at 180° during something like 2 min. Be careful as the egg needs to be quite raw! The mixture of this with good Baguette bread is something you can only experience in Paris, or I hope soon at my place ;)

It happens to be la fete de la musique the same day so Jose, Pere and Vlad went party as crazy. The rest came back earlier, and in between Sulli, Erica, Cristina and me. We started beering in the hostel until we got super drunk. It was quite funny when Sulli was explaining me something that I cannot remember as I felt asleep, so he hit me a bit pissed ;) Bad, very bad!

Sunday we visited EuroDisney, and we thought we would die due to the queues, but at the end they have this express queue system that appears not to be that terrible. Best in the park were the shows of Tarzan, and The Lion King. The rest is avoidable 60%. Top statement of the day came from Sonia when she assured that the guy that performed Simbah was hotter then the one that performed Tarzan ;)

On Monday we went for some relaxed shopping and enjoyed a Milfulles de Crème pastissiere.

Conclusion: A nice weekend that I am so willing to repeat. Paris is charming, and the friends that came with me made it even more magic, as I expected Disney to be. There is where I found Wonderland, not where I thought, but where I should had to look for since the very beginning.

And this? Just a nice picture :P Next time I am buying the donkey for Rut.
